Last time I was in the store, Sallie gave me a jar of My Sista’s Salsa to test. Wowiola! I am not a foodie, by a long stretch, so I was a little concerned that I’d have to be polite and find something nice to say about it.
No problem there! I love this salsa! (And so does everyone else who tried it.)
We tested it in several situations; by the time I remembered to take pictures, we were eating it simply, with corn chips. Great taste, with much more going on than the “plain-old” tomato-with-cilantro-and-some-heat you get in most restaurant offerings. Peppery; interesting.
And most of what any hostess wants to see: gone. No polite, “Sure, I had some and it was OK.” Instead, proof of good taste: it’s gone.
Try some. It’s in the fine foods section by the front windows, just across from monograms. Put it in your summer gift baskets. Take a jar for the fridge at the beach. Won’t be long before you’ll be buying it by the case for your friends.
